These Terms govern your use of ticly, the app and website at ticly.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ticly is a photo-sharing service. Each moment you share is visible to others for 24 hours. Other people can give it a tic, which adds time to its life (currently 1 hour per tic; this may change). When a moment's time runs out it is no longer shown to others and stays in your private memories.
You keep ownership of the photos and captions you share. You give ticly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and process your content only to run and improve the Service, for example to show it to others while it is live, keep it in your memories, and let you share it to other apps. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except for copies already shared by you outside ticly.
You agree not to:
Uploaded photos and captions are checked automatically for harmful content, and we may remove content or accounts that break these Terms.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which permanently deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any moment will reach a particular person or last a particular time.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ticly and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms. We will show the new date at the top and tell you about significant changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
